Ariana Grande Bio 

Ariana Grande-Butera (professionally known as Ariana Grande) was born on June 26, 1993 in Boca Raton, Florida to parents, Edward Butera and Joan Grande. As a child, Ariana took a keen interest in singing and acting. The now singer/actress started to participate in stage performances even before she reached her teen years. 

How Ariana Grande Started Her Career in Music/Acting 

Grande's role in a Broadway play at 15 years old, and a couple of minor TV roles were the stepping stones for her to snag the role of Cat in the TV series, "Victorious."  Not too long after Ariana landed these projects on theater and on TV, she released her debut album, "Yours Truly." "The Way" was the debut single off the said album, as per Biography.com. The other hits spawned off "Yours Truly" were "Baby I" and "Right There." Babyface produced "Yours Truly," with 1990's soul themes coming from the iconic pop singer, Mariah Carey infused in the music material. 

Ariana Grande Major Projects in Music and Acting 

Ariana's sophomore album, 2014's "My Everything" sold 169,000 copies in its first week of release. The first single off that album, "Problem," featuring Australian rapper, Iggy Azalea, debuted at the number three spot of the Billboard Hot 100. 

Ariana recently got the role of Glinda for the film adaptation of the musical, "Wicked." As per Capitalfm, "Wicked: Part One" is scheduled to be released in cinemas on November 27, 2024. On the other hand, "Wicked: Part Two" is set to be released on November 26, 2025. Ariana stars in "Wicked" alongside Cynthia Erivo, Michelle Yeoh, and Jeff Goldblum.

Ariana married real estate agent, Dalton Gomez, on May 2021. 

Ariana Grande Envious of Brie Larson? 

Ariana recently sparked a rumor that she may be envious of fellow actress, Brie Larson. As per Geo.tv, the singer/actress seemimgly hinted in a post on her Instagram stories that she desired for audiences to be obssessed with "Wicked" as they were with Brie Larson starred-film, "Captain Marvel." Ariana shared a screenshot of a fan's social media post which was inclusive of Brie Larson's photo with one of the actress' fans. 

Ariana's fan captioned the Larson's selfie, as saying: "Me when the Wicked movie comes out," Brie's caption announced that the fan featured in the selfie has watched Captain Marvel 140 times.
