Selena Gomez is doing some late spring cleaning on her Instagram. She unfollowed a number of people including her rumored boyfriend Zayn Malik and his ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid.

Is there a love triangle going on between them?

The "Lose You to Love Me" singer shocked fans when she unfollowed Malik, Hadid, her sister Bella Hadid, Dua Lipa, and Zendaya.

The sudden social media move raised a lot of eyebrows and caused fans to speculate that there might be something going on with Gomez and the celebrities she took out of her Instagram following.

"There are absolutely no hard feelings with anyone she unfollowed," an insider revealed to People magazine.

Additionally, Gomez also re-followed Dua Lipa shortly after unfollowing the "Levitating" singer.

Selena Gomez, Zayn Malik, Gigi Hadid Love Triangle?

Prior to unfollowing Malik on Instagram, Gomez actually surprised her fans when she followed the former One Direction member in the first place.

After following him, she and the "Pillow Talk" singer were spotted going out on dates multiple times since then.

Many wondered if Malik's rumored relationship bothered his ex, whom he shared a child with. According to reports, Hadid actually did not mind-after all, she herself has moved on and is currently dating Leonardo Dicaprio on and off for several months now.

"Gigi has no problem whatsoever with Zayn dating," a source said. "As long as he is happy and stable and continues to be a good co-parent to [their daughter] Khai, she's fine with whoever he goes out with."

It seems, though, that Malik and Gomez's rumored romance might prove to be short-lived, especially after the former also unfollowed the Rare Beauty owner back-then wiped out his entire Instagram account.

Selena Gomez on Social Media Break?

Gomez is no stranger to several controversies. Earlier this year, her long-standing on-again-off-again feud with Hailey Bieber came to a head.

Since then, she has decided to lay off all social media platforms for the time being. "I would constantly be crying. I constantly had anxiety... I couldn't do it anymore. It was a waste of my time."

"[...] There are wonderful things about social media - connecting with fans, seeing how happy and excited they are and their stories, but usually that's filtered through [for me now].

"I created a system. Everything I do I send to my assistant who posts them. As far as comments, my team will put together a few things that are encouraging."
