Fans across the country are flocking to see two of pop music's biggest powerhouses as they embark on their respective tours.

With Taylor Swift's the "Eras" tour, the singer-songwriter extraordinaire showcases her ever-evolving artistry and narrates the many chapters of her musical story.

Meanwhile, Beyonce is dazzling fans with an incredible show that goes beyond mere entertainment - known as the "Renaissance" Tour.

In the wake of her latest comments, Lizzo is at the center of a social media storm from die-hard Taylor Swift fans.

These Swifties have taken offense to what they understood as a dig towards their idol.

In a recent Instagram Live, the "Juice" hitmaker said, "The most popular person of today ain't even comparable to what Beyonce is doing."

Lizzo's remark caused an uproar on social media, leaving many followers of both Taylor Swift and Lizzo shocked by what was said.

One user commented, "How can she compare two such acclaimed women? She certainly isn't in their league."

A different follower commented, "It's pretty obvious why she's treating Taylor this way. Last year when she gained popularity, Taylor was really encouraging and supportive of her. But now it seems like Beyonce is just shading her... what an insincere person."

A devoted follower shared their opinion, saying, "You know what? This reminds me of something that Kanye said about Beyonce: 'she had one of the best music videos'. It's not only about the music but it's all based on how you show yourself in the media."

Many echoed the sentiment, exclaiming, "It's understandable why Swifties are frustrated with Kanye's actions from the 2009 VMAs. Nonetheless, I'm still a devoted fan of Taylor and Beyonce!"

In response to Lizzo's sentiment, many found that the "Make Damn Sure" hitmaker had not referenced Taylor Swift explicitly.

The assertion that Beyonce was exceptional seemed to be general rather than a direct critique of what the "Lavender Haze" singer has achieved in her career.

Rather, it appeared as though the statement was an appreciation of Beyonce's influence and impact within the music industry.

Forbes estimates have predicted that Beyonce's "Renaissance" tour could lead to ticket sales ranging from $275 million to a monumental $2.4 billion when it finishes in September.

Comparably, the "Eras" tour could generate a box office revenue of up to $1.9 billion.
