Bebe Rexha is now wearing an eyepiece following her New York concert incident. The singer now incorporated the protective gear on her outfits on her Los Angeles stop for "The Best F*n Night Of My Life" tour.

Weeks ago, Rexha was on the receiving end of a cell phone from a fan, who thought that throwing a phone at a singer was fun.

Singer Protection During Concert

Over the past few weeks, artists' safety had been a highlight and a debated topic on social media. This is because, after Rexha's assault, a string of other concert safety concerns have come to light.

Among the most recent safety encounters are the following: Ava Max was slapped while at her concert in Los Angeles, Kelsea Ballerini was hit with a flying bracelet in Boise, P!nk was given human ashes and a 6-pound wheel of Brie Cheese at her BST Hyde Park concerts in the UK, and most recently, Lil Nas X received a sex toy onstage on his most recent concert.

Now more than ever, singers and their security teams have increased safety protocols in their respective venues.

A surge in concerts and tours has taken place in the past few months and weeks as it is Summer in the United States and COVID-19 protocols are now being lifted.
