Ice Spice Enjoys Major Chart Milestone Not More Than A Year Since Her Breakthrough

To say that Ice Spice is the fastest and biggest artist in the country right now would be an understatement. Achieving mainstream popularity in August 2022 after the release of "Munch (Feelin' U)," Ice Spice boomed like crazy months after, collaborating with perhaps the biggest acts in the music industry already.

As of July 2022, Ice Spice has already had four Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hits, she was already included in the soundtrack of the biggest movies of the decade, and a prestigious invitation to the MET Gala.

Ice Spice Billboard Chart Milestone

Everyone was surprised and elated when they saw that Ice Spice was going to be part of the "Barbie" soundtrack, but everyone was not prepared when it was announced that she would be recreating and giving new life to the beloved pop culture classic "Barbie Girl" from Aqua.

Ice Spice collaborated once again with the Queen of Rap Nicki Minaj on the new reimagined record. The Danish pop group Aqua was also credited on the track. The song has performed well commercially, launching at the No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts this week.

Out of the five tracks already released from the "Barbie" Movie Soundtrack, "Barbie World" was the highest-placing track from the set. This placement earned Nicki Minaj her 23rd Top 10 hit and Ice Spice's 4th.

Aside from this, Ice Spice has already occupied two spots on the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 twice this year. As she ranked No. 7 on "Barbie World" with a pop-rap icon like Nicki Minaj, her previous collaboration with Taylor Swift on "Karma" places No. 8 on the same genre-blending charts.

Back in April 2023, Ice Spice pulled the same laudable feat with "Boys A Liar Pt 2" placing No. 10, and "Princess Diana" with Nicki Minaj debuting at No. 4 on the same charts.

Ice Spices Music Career Trajectory

It is quite shocking to know that Ice Spice has achieved all of these in the span of 11 months since she achieved mainstream popularity back in August 2022.

Aside from her chart milestone, she was able to collaborate with big artists like Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift already, two of the biggest stars of this generation.

Likewise, she has also performed with Swift on "The Eras" Tour, performing their hit song "Karma." She was also tapped for a tour next year with Doja Cat on the "Scarlet" Tour with Doechii.
