Floor Jansen, popularly known for being a member of the band Nightwish, announced that a medical emergency happened to her after performing at a concert. Even though she assured her fans that her current condition is normal, she would be canceling her upcoming shows for safety.

According to Loudwire, the vocalist took to her official Instagram account and announced that her shows this July 6 and 8 will not push through anymore.

The reason why she decided not to continue touring was because of her health. She also revealed the shocking incident that many fans had no idea about.

"I became exhausted after my last show with Nightwish in Finland. So much so that I collapsed and had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance," she told fans.

The musician, who is currently pregnant, added also that doctors told her that her baby is healthy and she doesn't have any "serious illnesses."

Floor Jansen Needs to Focus on Recovery and Pregnancy

It all boils down to fatigue and she must rest for the betterment of her and her baby's health.

"To ensure the health of both myself and my unborn baby, I need to rest and focus entirely on my recovery and the final phase of my pregnancy," she added.

Jansen also noted that canceling a show breaks her heart and the decision to do it was hard for her, but she's hoping that fans would still attend her future concerts.

Concluding her statement, the musician told her supporters that she will take care of herself and her "little one."

Floor Jansen, Nightwish Updates

Despite being pregnant, Floor Jansen was juggling her time to go on tour as a solo artist and a member of Nightwish.

In other updates about Nightwish, the outlet noted that the band has been wrapping up touring in support of their album "Human :II: Nature." Although they have plans on dropping a new album next year, they told supporters that they will not perform in live shows for a while after the current one.

They explained that the reason behind their decision was "personal" but all of the members agree with each other for the sake of the band's future.

On the other hand, Jansen has been playing solo shows featuring songs from her album "Paragon" until her recent announcement.
