Colleen Ballinger is under fire for a series of allegations thrown at her, one of which is her alleged blackface video that went resurfaced and went viral a few days ago.
In the video, Ballinger--who was portraying her awkward and sloppy alter ego, Miranda Sings, was seen wearing paint on her face as she performed "Single Ladies" by Beyonce.
Many accused her of using mocking Beyonce in blackface, however, according to reports, the YouTuber's legal team has issued a statement denying it.
They claim that what Ballinger had on her face is green paint, as she had just finished performing "As Long As You're Mine" from the Broadway musical "Wicked."
Colleen Ballinger's PR Team 'Working Overtime'?
The "Wicked" follows the story of Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West from "The Wizard of Oz," and she has green skin.
Ballinger's team alleged that the YouTuber had green face paint on for her performance as Elphaba alongside Oliver Tompsett, a star from the show.

However, netizens are still unconvinced. "Her PR team is working overtime," one wrote about the news.
"Oh really?" Another added.
"She's still over, if she had any concern she would've wiped it off after this part of the show."
Others criticized Ballinger's team for only addressing the blackface video, out of all the other allegations thrown her way.
"Oh now the reps are talking but when the whole internet shows screenshots, videos, emails, of actual predatory behavior and acts of grooming underage fans and sending nude photos to minors they have nothing to say at all."

Colleen Ballinger's Creepy Alter Ego Miranda Sings
While Ballinger has apologized for her racist remarks and mocking of different ethnicities and races back in 2020, she is yet to actually address several other claims against her, like the grooming allegations.
The YouTuber uploaded a 10-minute video about the grooming allegations, where she sang her statement denying the allegations.
"Some people are saying things about me that just aren't true," she sang, "Even though my team has strongly advised me not to say what I'm going to say, I realized they never said I couldn't sing about what I want to say."
Other parts of the song, which she performed with a ukelele, hammered down on the "lies": "Your goal is to ruin the life of the person you despise while you dramatize your lies and monetize their demise."
