The "Barbie" Movie Soundtrack might be the biggest and most star-studded movie soundtrack in recent memory because of the number of A-list stars included in the project.

As the list of artists was revealed earlier this year, the project kept two artists under wraps, until only days before the actual theatrical release of the movie worldwide.

Speculation among fans has circulated on Twitter, but everyone's confused with new information popping out online which was being discovered by curious fans.

Mark Ronson Teases Mystery Artists on 'Barbie' Movie Soundtrack

Expounding on the creative process he had to go through in creating and curating the artists included on the "Barbie" Movie Soundtrack to Time Magazine, Mark Ronson teased everyone to expect the final artist on the said project.

"One of the artists is obviously one of the f-cking greatest living artists around but also had a very personal, idiosyncratic tie to Barbie as well," he said about the final artist.

At the time the article was published, there were only two remaining tracks on the "Barbie" Movie Soundtrack still unnamed. Try checking Apple Music for reference.

However, Billie Eilish surprised everyone with a huge announcement that she would be the other one of the two. She'll be behind the song "What Was I Made For?" based on her Instagram announcement.

Since the Time Magazine report came about and Eilish's confirmation clarified things, fans are now guessing who the last mystery artist is. Names like Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, and even Beyonce are being thrown into the mix.

However, in a confusing turn of events, Ronson took to social media to clarify (and confuse people) some things.

Sam Smith on 'Barbie' Movie Soundtrack Confirmed?

Ronson reacted to a screenshot of Billie Eilish's Instagram story about his statement. He said: "Hi. I love all these artists being thrown around. But was specifically referring to Billie."

At the same time, Buzzing Pop shared a screenshot of an unnamed song registration website that reveals Sam Smith, Mark Ronson, and Ricky Reed. Singing a song titled "Man I Am (From The Barbie Album), the announcement spread like wildfire on the platform.

Earlier this week, Deuxmoi, a prominent Hollywood gossiper, said that Smith and Eilish would be on the record, even adding Charlie Puth as a third collaborator.

As of this writing, the news of whether Sam Smith would be on the album has yet to be denied or confirmed by anyone related to the project. The "Barbie" Movie soundtrack will be released on Jul. 21, 2023, the same day as the film's theatrical release worldwide.
