KPOP fans are convinced that BLACKPINK's Jennie and BTS' V are dating for quite some time now, but when a grainy video that alleged the pair were walking hand in hand along the streets of Paris surfaced online, all hell broke loose.
According to reports, the first time fans got a whiff of the pair being a couple was back in December 2021, when V accidentally followed Jennie on Instagram.
It caused fans' eyebrows to raise because dating among KPOP idols is a taboo topic. V eventually had to go to WeVerse, a fan-Kpop idol platform to deny the relationship.
Several other instances, like when V was seen driving around South Korea's Jeju Island with a mystery person who resembled Jennie, or an unverified selfie of the pair together.

In May 2023, the romance rumors resurfaced after a French photographer uploaded a video of what he claims to be Jennie and V, walking hand in hand along the Siene River.
According to reports, fans went into a frenzy. Some were devastated that their favorite KPOP stars are in a relationship, while others demanded privacy for the pair, and others were simply glad that the rumors are "true."
The reason why many assumed that the video held truth to it is because both KPOP idols were in Paris at the same time.
Jennie was spotted wearing the same outfit as the mystery person in the video earlier that day, and the same goes for V.

Jennie Confirms Dating Rumors?
After months and months of speculating of whether it really was Jennie and V on the video, it seems like the rumors have been confirmed-by none other than Jennie herself.
According to reports, the BLACKPINK singer took to Instagram to share her outfit-one that looks almost exactly like the outfit the mystery person was wearing in the video!
Fans could not help but gush and cheer the "The Idol" star on as she seemingly confirmed the rumors with a series of pictures.
"Qrts already crying and throwing up. OMG exactly Jennie won the IDGAF war." Fans also managed to dig up old pictures of the KPOP idols to prove that they are dating.
"YES MISS JENNIE KIM TELL THEM THAT KIM TAEHYUNG IS YOUR MAN."
"She's such a QUEEN."
As of this writing, neither one of Jennie and V's agencies have issued statements regarding the new development in this story.
