There has been an uptick in fans hurling objects at artists during live performances lately, and while their intentions might have come from a place of love, several artists have already been injured.

"I've been getting hit onstage with things for like, literally, six years, I don't know why this is like new," said Billie Eilish about the string of incidents. "People just get excited and it can be dangerous."

Eilish and Finneas weighed in on the issue, noting that it is definitely nothing new, but still dangerous and harmful to the performer nonetheless.

"It's absolutely infuriating when you're up there," the "Ocean Eyes" singer admitted.

"I have mixed feelings about it, because when you're up there it blows. But you know it's out of love and they're just trying to give you something," she continued, noting that the artist is in a "vulnerable position."

Billie Eilish Condemns Fans Throwing Things At Her

Despite being annoyed at the situation, the singer acknowledges that fans mean well-for the most part.

"Don't do it - we get it but don't do it. Don't throw things onstage, but we love you; it's very sweet."

The recent "trend' has caught the ire of multiple artists, including Adele, who spoke up against it.

"Have you noticed how people are forgetting f**king show etiquette at the moment," the "Rolling in The Deep" singer said during one of her shows in Las Vegas.

"People are throwing s--- on stage. Have you seen that? I f**ling dare you - I dare you throw something at me. I'll f**king kill you."

Bebe Rexha, Kelsea Ballerini, Lil Nas X, More

The number of artists thrown at during their live performances has grown exponentially in recent weeks-especially since most of the artists are getting severely injured.

It began with Bebe Rexha who was performing at a small and intimate venue when a fan threw a phone at her. It hit her eye, and she required stitches.

During Lil Nas X's set in Lollapalooza, a fan threw a sex toy onstage, and it, fortunately, did not hit them.

Kelsea Ballerini was hit square on the face with a bracelet from a fan while she was performing. She had to walk offstage and calm herself before returning and addressing the issue.

Pink also had a run-in with a fan when the fan decided to throw their mother's ashes at the singer while she was performing.

According to reports, other artists who have been thrown things at include Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Drake, and more.
