Lisa Marie Presley's final days seemingly have uncanny similarities to what happened to her father, Elvis Presley, before his death.

The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office officially revealed more details about Lisa Marie's passing, including her cause of death, six months after her demise. The public already noticed how her death was eerily similar to her father's, and the new information made everything more hair-raising.

Lisa Marie Presley's Cause of Death

Initial reports said Lisa Marie suffered a suspected cardiac arrest that led her to be on life support before her death, though it was deferred by the medical examiner a few days later.

Six months after her death, the County of Los Angeles Medical-Examiner's records confirmed that the late singer suffered from a strangulated small bowel caused by adhesions developed after undergoing a weight loss operation called bariatric surgery. The document, obtained by NBC News, said that her medical issue is a common complication of the surgery.

Meanwhile, the toxicology report cited by another news outlet disclosed that she had "therapeutic levels of Oxycodone" and Buprenorphine in her system at the time of death. The medical examiner also found traces of Quetiapine, which is used to treat depression, anxiety, and schizophrenia, among others.

The same report added that Lisa Marie was prescribed opioids following the cosmetic procedure in 2022. She also suffered from drug and alcohol addiction in the years leading to her death.

Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis Presley Faced Same Life, Health Issues?

Following the confirmation, the eerie similarities to what Lisa Marie and Elvis suffered from emerged.

For what it's worth, the late King of Rock and Roll's post-mortem examination detected that he had a compacted stool in his bowel, which had been there for at least four months.

Chief investigator for the Tennessee Office of the State Chief Medical Examiner Dan Warlick, who attended the autopsy, thought about the theory and said Elvis probably died of chronic constipation, which was caused by his months-long devouring of cheeseburgers.

"Presley's chronic constipation - the result of years of prescription drug abuse and high-fat, high-cholesterol gorging - brought on what's known as Valsalva's maneuver," he said. "Put simply, the strain of attempting to defecate compressed the singer's abdominal aorta, shutting down his heart."

According to official documents, Elvis' colon doubled in diameter and length compared to the normal 2 to 3 inches and 4 to 5 feet long.

His longtime friend and personal physician, Dr. George Nichopoulos, also supported the same theory after initially assuming that his constipation was only secondary to the medicines he took.
