Miranda Lambert has been known to be one of the pillars of country music for years now and regardless of her status, audiences should know the basic etiquette of being a concertgoer whenever they attend shows.

In a recent viral video circulating across the internet, it appears that the country songstress has had enough with some of the audience members as she decided to call them out herself.

According to CNN Entertainment, the "Mama's Broken Heart" recently performed at a concert in Las Vegas, Nevada, over the weekend.

In the clip, the singer, who donned a blue sequin dress and a pair of bedazzled cowboy boots, was singing one of her hits before she abruptly stopped the show for a short while.

Miranda Lambert Calls Out Fans Who Are Taking Selfies

The musician proceeded to call out some concertgoers, saying, "These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song, it's pissing me off a little bit."

Lambert then told the audience that she doesn't like people who are taking selfies in the middle of her performance because people came to her show to enjoy country music.

"We're here to hear some country music tonight, I'm singing some country damn music. Shall we start again?" she added.

After her remarks, the rest of the attendees applauded the singer before she continued singing her song again.

Miranda Lambert Gets Called Out on Social Media

After the video went viral on different social media platforms, there were some users who expressed their true feelings over Lambert's actions and many of them believe that it was too harsh.

"Imagine telling someone who PAID for their OWN experience what to do lmao," one tweeted.

"Going to a concert is about creating an experience and a memory. If someone wants to take a picture to document that memory, they should be able to," another one wrote.

"Great way to lose fans. Your ears don't break when taking a picture. You should be grateful they spent the money to see you perform," another one expressed.

As of this writing, Miranda Lambert has yet to address the comments online.

The musician's series of performances are a part of her ongoing Las Vegas residency titled "Velvet Rodeo" at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood.
