Becky G has always pushed herself to give out 200% on everything that she has done for herself. But now, she's reflecting on the things she has done and is yet to do and realized that she's more "enough" already for herself.

Ever since she had a breakthrough hit "Shower," Becky G has gone far already. She has already performed on the main stage of the Coachella Festival, which she described to be some sort of a life-changing moment for her.

Becky G Reflects On Music Career

Speaking to People Magazine, Becky G reflected on the past strides in her music career.

Released in 2014, "Shower" became Becky G's most notable and popular work up until today. Almost 10 years today, it still is, but its not just the only thing keeping the Latina artist afloat.

"When I hear you say 10-plus years... It makes me happy that I'm only 26, but it's just wild to hear that, 'cause it makes me feel old," Becky revealed to the magazine. "I'm definitely not old, but it's crazy."

The song charted at No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. In 2022, she achieved a milestone in her career. Her collaboration with Karol G, "Mamiii," became one of the most popular collaborations in Latin music. The song also reached No. 15 on the said charts, outperforming "Shower," making it her highest-charting song to date. Aside from this, it also earned accolades and critical acclaim.

"It's a really good example of what happens when women come together," she pondered. "I think that we are so deserving of all of the space in these very, very tough industries that have definitely put some obstacles in front of us. But I think with those obstacles has come [a] really great opportunity to show up, collaborate and show that - in Spanish I like to say, 'Juntos somos más' - together we're more."

Becky G Coachella Performance 2023

At the start of her 2023, Becky G kickstarted the year with a bang on her Coachella performance on April 2023.

Speaking to her therapist, Becky G said that the performance was her "rebirth," following her breakup with her fiance Sebastian Lletget. The performance was a breakthrough for her having to give her "200%" in everything that she does, a trait she got from her immigrant parents.

"That cross street between two languages, two flags, two cultures, not feeling enough. What does that even mean? Enough for who? I'm enough for me," she said. "That whole journey of self-evolution has been so liberating and super empowering. Definitely emotional, but I think in the best way."

Now, Becky G is heading for her "Mi Casa, Su Casa" tour in North America and the release of her third album, which will explore her Mexican roots.
