Why Jeremy Spencer Left Five Finger Death Punch Revealed

After his stint with Five Finger Death Punch, Spencer launched his own group Psychosexual, which was later called Psycho Synner, and became its vocalist known for a devil costume. He soon fronted Semi-Rotted, where he still serves as the frontman.

In an interview with Blabbermouth on July 17, the drummer was asked whether he misses playing with Five Finger Death Punch, to which he honestly said he "still does." Spencer said he particularly misses doing big festivals since he has not done it in 2018; still, he clarified that he does not want to go through it all again.

Hinting at the reason he left Five Finger Death Punch, Spencer explained he would not want to go back to it again after doing the thing with the band once.

"[Five Finger Death Punch] is a runaway freight train of a business," he said. "So many people relied on us; we had 30 crew guys. It's a big business. It's a lot of pressure; you got to keep going. Everyone is like, 'When's the next record?' I'm like, 'F**k you. You write a record.' It's not easy."

According to Spencer, he told his then-bandmates he would leave if they would not take a break at the end of that year, and the members opted not to stop.
