Are Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid trying to make their relationship work again?
Before their breakup confirmation emerged in October 2021, Malik and Hadid already endured on-again, off-again over the past years. Things worsened after the damaging revelation involving the model's mom, Yolanda Hadid, emerged as she said she wanted to file a police report against the former One Direction member.
As they continue to co-parent, they also sparked reconciliation rumors after an unexpected interaction online.
Zayn Malik, Gigi Hadid Together Again?
Malik posted a new photo on Instagram, showing a shirtless picture of himself and his back tattoos as he played a red piano. This led fans to assume that he might release more music soon following the release of his first solo track in two years, "Love Like This," on July 21.
The post, which nears 2 million likes, also received approval from Hadid after the supermodel also liked the photo, per The Mirror.
As a result, fans went into a frenzy and suggested that the ex-couple might be a few steps closer to each other again.

"Gigi liked Zayn's pic?? Zigi reunion PLEASE," one said, while another added, "l really want them back together."
While Malik and Hadid have not addressed the rumors directly, their online interaction came after the "Pillow Talk" singer spoke out about the claims he had a fight with Yolanda in 2021. He appeared on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, his first interview in six years, and gave a little detail about the argument while staying as private as possible.
"I believe I dealt with it in the best way," he said. "In an amicable, respectful way, and that's all that needs to be said."
Zayn Malik's Issue With Yolanda Hadid
Following the September 2021 incident during which he allegedly "grabbed and shoved Yolanda into a dresser," Malik was charged with four counts of harassment on top of the two other counts involving Hadid and security guard John McMahon.
However, he soon pleaded not guilty and told a news outlet that he never hit nor aggressively held Yolanda, and the statement was supported by his friend who said the fight started when Yolanda came over uninvited while Gigi Hadid was away for work.
