De Andre Cortez Way (professionally known as Soulja Boy) was born on July 28, 1990 in Chicago. Soulja reportedly got his extraordinary interest in performing various mixes of music types from his other roots in Atlanta and Mississippi, as reported via All Music. The then-aspiring rapper grew up in between Atlanta and Mississippi. Soulja worked with the Palm Tree Promotions when he moved to the latter state, as per All Music.
How Soulja Boy Started His Rapper Career
While working with the Palm Tree Promotions, Soulja participated in localized shows, however, it didn't take long for the aspiring musician to to promote the existence of his music via the Internet. Some of Soulja's own songs from a collection of beats that he had which got a substantial number of downloads online were "I Got Some Bapes" and "Yahhh Bitch "Yahh".
"Crank that Soulja Boy" has always been Soulja's breakthrough famed song track in 2007. At the same time, this news was announced that the said song was taken on for commercial release by Interscope records.

"Crank that Soulja Boy" turned out to the first song which has reached Triple Platium status, with the hit reaching the number one spot of the Billboard Hot 100. Soul ja Boy seeks to have the trial redone all over again, following the musician's claim that the members of the jury invloved in the previous trial exhibited misconduct, as per Hip Hop DX.
