Travis Scott's fans were initially excited after he announced that he would be performing within the vicinity of the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt. However, the show got canceled just days before the scheduled date. More recently, his supporters still went to the area to party with other fans.

In videos shared on Twitter, it appeared that those who already bought plane tickets to come to see the musician perform in the country were still determined to have a great time as they partied with other concertgoers who never got the chance to see the rapper.

The number of people was undetermined, but several fans just started using the flashes of their phones while rapping and dancing to some of Travis Scott's massive hits.

It's unclear if what the fans did were illegal but it sure appeared that they had an amazing time as most of them jumped up and down and exchanged verses with each other. Some of them even removed their shirts and lay down on the floor.

As of this writing, the rapper has yet to react to the matter.

Travis Scott Pyramid Concert Canceled

The latest videos comes after Travis Scott's team confirmed that his show at the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt has been canceled.

According to CNN Entertainment, the announcement was made just two days before his scheduled appearance.

In a statement, Live Nation, the organizer behind the show, revealed that the show and "complex production issues... could not be constructed in the desert" even though they did their best.

"We understand that this news is disappointing and not the outcome any of us desired," they added.

Travis Scott was supposed to perform songs from his new album "Utopia" and it was also planned to be live streamed online.

After the initial announcement about his concert, Egyptian musicians and citizens call to boycott the rapper for his "strange rituals."

Some users even used the hashtag in Arabic which read "#Ban_Travis_Scott_Concert."

Travis Scott Concert at the Pyramids Still Happening in the Future?

Even though it was canceled, Travis Scott assured his fans that the show would still happen in the future.

He explained that the concert was canceled "due to demand and detail logistics" and that the venue just needs "a bit time to set lay on lands."

The rapper added that he will keep fans posted about a different date in the future.
