Post Malone may have had a very successful career in the music industry in recent years, but he recently noted that he had a tragic childhood as he would often get bullied for his "weirdo" persona when he was younger.
The musician recently sat down with Alex Cooper for her "Call Her Daddy" podcast where he gave fans an insight into the early days of his life.
Growing up in upstate New York, the rapper revealed that he's always been an introverted kid and the only way he expressed himself was through music. In addition, the rapper, who got his stage name from a rap name generator when he was a kid, also loved playing games.
He moved when he was nine years old and people would often pick on him in school.
"I guess for dressing the way I did. We wore skinny jeans and all that stuff, and that was just kind of like a new deal. I don't know. And people'd throw gum in my hair... Kids are mean," he explained. (via Billboard)

Aside from his music, Post Malone is also known for his tattoos as he has inked artworks that almost covered his entire body, including his face.
Elsewhere in the interview, Cooper asked which of his tattoos he would remove if ever given the chance.

The musician didn't hesitate and said he will remove something from his face for his mother.
Post Malone's Life Changed After His Daughter Was Born
The recent interview comes after his appearance on "The Zane Lowe Show" where he opened up about his personal life in the present.
He admitted that some of his partying habits "slowed down" and he rarely goes out for a party with friends anymore, especially when his fatherhood journey began.
"I just want to take a second and enjoy it," he said of his success.
Regarding his habits in the present, Post Malone noted that he loves hanging out with his baby, with his fiancé, which remains anonymous, playing video games, and working on projects.
Although he already lessened his partying habits, the rapper still hangs out with some of his friends and they would drink until sunrise while listening to music.
