On the first episode of "Superfan," LL Cool J felt emotional and sentimental as he reflected on how his fans changed his life.

"In every way possible, right?" he said. "You have some people that were there for me from day one with the music, you have some people that came later with television shows and acting. They mean everything to me."

Perhaps giving props to the new and upcoming CBS series, the rapper concluded his little speech with "Without the fans, there is none of this."

According to reports, "Superfan" is a competition show that will feature fans going up against each other, proving that they are the biggest fans of an artist, thus the title.

LL Cool J Calls Out Miranda Lambert

The issue between LL Cool J and Miranda Lambert began a couple of weeks back when the country music singer got annoyed at some of her fans for taking selfies while she was performing.

She stopped mid-performance to call them out, "I'm gonna stop right here for a sec," the singer said. "These girls are worried about a selfie and not listening to the song, and it's pissing me off a little bit."

Fans online were shocked that Lambert would be petty enough to stop a couple of fans from enjoying her concert the way they want to enjoy it.

It became somewhat like a debate among fans on Twitter, which gained the attention of the "Doin' It" rapper.

"Miranda, get over it, baby," LL Cool J joked during his interview on "Mercedes in the Morning." "They're fans."

He went on to explain how fans are free to express how they will interact with an artist's art.

"Your job as an artist is to create art. The way people choose to interact with that art-or engage it or appreciate it-is up to them," he added.

LL Cool J Loves His Fans, and They Love Him

LL Cool J then added that he was not trying to start a fight or beef with Lambert, but was simply advising her on how to interact with her fans.

"You gotta let the fans do what they wanna do," he said. "What, we got rules?"

"I have nothing unkind to say about her," he then added. "I wish her the best. She has the right to her feelings but for me, I let the fans be fans and do what they want to do."
