It's been three years since Katy Perry last released an album and fans have been asking her to release new music soon. More recently, the pop star shared her thoughts about her big comeback and questions from fans were still left unanswered.

Speaking in an interview with "Good Morning America," the musician shared about her plans for new music or a possible album.

She told the outlet that she's "always writing" music, but there is something more important for her to do first before releasing new tracks for her supporters.

"I think what's really important to me is to be celebrating the world that I've got to build with all of these wonderful songs and to be responsible for a life for a 3-year-old," she said. (via Billboard)

Concluding her statement, the "International Smile" songstress assured fans,"I will be back, but let me get this right."

Katy Perry's 'PLAY' Las Vegas Residency is Coming to an End

Even though Katy Perry hasn't released a new album in three years, she treated her fans with over-the-top visuals and amazing performances at her "Play" residency in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The series of shows started in December 21, and two years after it was launched, it's going to conclude this November.

Some of the songs being played on her show were not just from her album "Smile" but also from her different album eras like "One of the Boys," "Teenage Dream," "PRISM," and "Witness."

Looking back at her shows, Perry said she will always remember the joy of the community and togetherness as there were a lot of strangers in one venue who sang the songs that she performed.

"I'll never forget that energy. I'll never forget the joy. I'll never forget the happiness," she added.

According to Katy Perry's official website, her shows are being hled at The Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas in Nevada.
