Beyonce has proved once again why she is considered the greatest of all time in music history by becoming the female artist with the highest-grossing tour of all time.

According to Chart Data on Twitter, the "Alien Superstar" singer earned over $16.5 million from each night she performed at the MetLife Stadium.

This also means that she just beat her own record which she previously set with the "Formation" world tour. On top of that, she has surpassed Taylor Swift and her "The Eras" tour.

Fans are ecstatic and proud of Beyonce and her new achievement, after all, they have played a major role in making it happen, as millions of them attended the "Single Ladies" singer's string of concerts from Europe all the way to the United States.

Beyonce Surpasses Taylor Swift

The news of Beyonce's "Renaissance" tour surpassing Swift's "The Eras" tour might come as no surprise to some fans.

Forbes magazine had predicted this could happen several months back. In fact, they gave an estimated number of how much Beyonce's tour would earn more than Swift's-about $500 million, apparently.

One of the major reasons why Beyonce has claimed the top spot of being the highest-grossing touring female artist is largely due to the average ticket price, which is about $700.

Forbes estimated that the "Renaissance" tour would gross between $250 million and $2.4 billion from just the ticket sales by September, whereas "The Eras" tour was estimated to gross around $1.9 billion.

According to reports, local economies are looking forward to hosting Beyonce in their cities, as her concerts bring in a large audience which also helps local businesses.

"We're super excited about Beyonce coming to BOA Stadium," said James LeBar, the SVP of economic development in Charlotte.

"This is really, really good, It's a little bit slower week, August is always kind of a hit or miss month, so we really appreciate Beyonce coming, especially in the middle of the week, it means a lot of good business for us, the restaurants and the city," added Stephanie Harkness of the Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte Uptown and Hampton Inn and Suites.
