Britney Spears' estranged husband, Sam Asghari, tried to save their marriage before filing for divorce, an insider claimed.
After one year and one month of marriage, Sam Asghari submitted a filing to request for a dissolution of his marriage to Spears, citing "irreconcilable differences." Although the filing shocked the public, the 29-year-old personal trainer tried his best to save their failing relationship.

Us Weekly spoke to multiple news outlets that detailed the events that happened prior to Ashari's divorce filing.
One insider said the hunk "tried to make it work" despite the "intensity" surrounding his estranged wife.
"It's been draining, yet his love never wavered," the unnamed source said. "He just wishes people understood the depth of what they're going through."

Following the divorce filing, a source revealed that the estranged couple had cut their communication already, as Spears would not let him in the home. They also started dealing with problems, and the singer's drama made it even harder for Asghari to deal with.
Asghari finally addressed their divorce in a post on Instagram Story on Thursday, saying they decided to end their marriage together.
Despite their split, he expressed his love and respect for his estranged wife and wished her the best.
Sam Asghari Denies Rumors Surrounding Divorce
Asghari and Spears' divorce has been bombarded with claims, including the model allegedly threatening to release "embarrassing materials" related to Spears if their prenup would not be updated.
His representative dismissed the claims in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter on Thursday and clarified that his client never made plans to challenge the prenup or threaten his ex-wife with videos.
"However, all these claims are false, as no negative intention has ever been directed towards her and never will be," the representative continued. "Sam has always and will always support her."
Spears, on the other hand, has yet to respond to the filing. Her latest Instagram update was shared on Tuesday in which she told her fans she would buy a horse soon.
The ex-couple ended their marriage one year and one month after their wedding at Spears' Thousand Oaks, California home in June 2022.
