Jason Aldean may be "Burnin' It Down" this summer, but the country superstar is looking to expand his reach into the fall. Yesterday (Sept. 2), Aldean announced a new album Old Boots, New Dirt.

Due for release on Oct. 7, Aldean took inspiration from his much-discussed personal life for Old Boots, New Dirt and emphasized that this new album will be akin to a new beginning for him.

"For me, [Old Boots, New Dirt] just seemed like a fitting title to put on this album that we made during all this madness. In the last couple of years, it feels like everything I've done has been on blast, personally and professionally," Aldean said to Buzzfeed. "That title and that song, Old Boots, New Dirt, is about starting with a clean slate. I'm the same dude, but we're gonna start over and hit some uncharted territory here."

Featuring 15 songs with country fried titles like "Sweet Little Somethin'," "If My Truck Could Talk" and "Don't Change Gone," Aldean pulled from his controversial 2013 divorce and relationship with his former mistress and current girlfriend Brittany Kerr.
