Lorde’s debut album Pure Heroine was one of the most popular albums of 2013, and today the “Royals” singer has confirmed that she is currently in the studio, possibly working on her follow-up.
On her Instagram account this past Friday, Aug. 29, the musician posted a close-up photo of a candle in front of a mixing board, with the caption, “i always remind myself to bring a candle for the studio and finally i did today and ohhhhhhh.”
Though this photo could be proof of the 17-year-old singer working on a new album, she could also be working on her song for the upcoming soundtrack to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay: Part 1, which she is curating.
