Heads up, fans of the Beatles! Ringo Starr is making a big comeback by releasing a brand new EP and he will be reuniting with his former bandmate, Paul McCartney, for the collaboration of a lifetime; check out all the details below.

According to Forbes, the English musician revealed the details of his upcoming EP titled "Rewind Forward." There will be many collaborations with other artists, but fans are most excited about McCartney's appearance on the record.

For those who are interested in hearing the new EP, mark your calendars as the record will be available for streaming on major music platforms like Spotify and Apple Music starting on October 13, 2023.

It only has four songs, but Starr will give his fans a treat as he would release the title track on August 25, 2023.

Per the outlet, one of the four songs included in the EP will feature the legendary musician, Paul McCartney.

The song is titled "Feeling The Sunlight" and he was the one who wrote it himself.

Many fans were happy and surprised for the pair's collaborative work in the upcoming EP as it took them to nostalgia lane as both artists have teamed up with one another in writing music, especially back when they were still in the Beatles along with John Lennon and George Harrison.

Ringo Starr to Feature Star-Studded Collaborators in New EP

Aside from the musical legend, there are also other iconic musicians that contributed in the EP.

Some featuring artists include Mike Campbell and Benmont Tench of Heartbreaks. Both of them worked together to write the song "Miss Jean."

In addition, Steve Lukather and Joseph Williams of Toto will also make an appearance in the record.

Other collaborators include Lance Morrison, Steve Dudas, Joe Walsh, Marky Lennon, Kipp Lennon, Torrance Klein,and Westin Wilson.

This marks Ringo Starr's fourth extended play in three years. His last record titled "EP3" was released in September 2022.

In other reports, Starr and McCartney also worked together in a new version of the classic "Let It Be" along with Dolly Parton for her rock album.
