Cardi B has been adamant about taking her time with making and releasing her sophomore album so much that it has been five years since the release of her debut album "Invasion of Privacy."
However, it seems like the "WAP" rapper is finally ready to unveil what she has been working on for years: "Now I'm working on the cover and ideas for the next album because it's definitely coming.
"Everyone always tells me that I should release the album now, they did it when I launched 'WAP' and 'Up,' but I always let them know that I'm not going to wait long to release it after all these singles. So stay tuned because it's going to come out very soon."
According to reports, Cardi B is going to hold back on releasing any collaborative projects because she will be prioritizing her solo singles.
Cardi B Expands Her Empire
Elsewhere in her interview with Vogue Mexico, the "Bodak Yellow" rapper also revealed she is not only working on releasing the upcoming albu, she is also planning to expand her empire.
"I also have plans in the world of cinema. In fact, I have plans to do everything I can: fashion, branding, I want to do it all, honey," Cardi B said.
One of the main reasons why the rapper has delayed the release of her album is because of her responsibilities as a mother and the high standards and expectations of the industry.
"I do have anxiety," she said earlier this year. I've been having a lot of anxiety 'cause I know right after I drop my album I have to go on tour. And I have bad separation anxiety from my kids. When it comes to the music, I just be feeling like I don't be liking anything. I feel like I got so many songs, I just don't like nothing. Like nothing is good enough. I got so much fucking money saved up, I be like, 'Yeah, whatever the f**k.'"

Cardi B's New Album Coming Soon
As per an insider, Cardi B spared no expense for her upcoming releases. In fact, one of the music videos lined up for release did not even have a budget.
"She has pulled out all the stops with the video, money wasn't an object," the source revealed. "Cardi has made sure it has been well worth the wait. The album is almost ready and will be out soon."
According to reports, Cardi B might be releasing her first single somewhen in Autumn, so fans better keep their eyes peeled and their ears perked until then.
