Fans were looking forward to watching Drake perform live in Vancouver, British Columbia, in his home country of Canada, to the point that they lined up early to see the rapper, but, they were left disappointed after the show was canceled at the last minute; what happened?

The venue, Rogers Arena, took to their official X account (formerly known as Twitter) to express their apologies as well as give concertgoers an explanation about the sudden postponement.

In a statement, they wrote, "due to unforseen circumstances with the newly-installed videoboard at Rogers Arena, tonight's Drake performance will now take place on Wednesday, August 30."

They added that those who purchased tickets for that day could still attend the following concert with the same tickets and it will go accordingly.

"Rogers Arena apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause," they wrote.

Drake 'It's All A Blur' Tour 2023 Special Guest

Aside from Drake and Lil Yachty, it appears that the concert was worth it because the rapper brought out a very special guest for the evening, Travis Scott.

According to XXL Mag, the Vancouver show was able to continue the following day and Scott performed some of his new hits like "Meltdown" for the first time ever."

He also played "Sicko Mode," "Fein," "I Know," and many more. Per the outlet, Travis Scott was the replacement of 21 Savage for the concerts in Vancouver.

Drake's next scheduled concerts would be two shows at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, on September 1 and 2, 2023.
