When Olivia Rodrigo released "Vampire," netizens speculated that the song might be about Taylor Swift, but with the release of her new album, "GUTS," a new song has been added to the list of speculations.

There is a song titled "The Grudge" on Rodrigo's new album, and it contains lyrics that allude to a broken relationship that the singer is yet to fully recover from.

"I feel like we all know who 'The Grudge' is about... this makes me so sad," a fan wrote.

"Okay but now that I've listened to the whole album I'm just questioning wth could be about Taylor," another added.

The reason behind all the fan theories about how the song could be about Swift is due to the alleged feud the two singers had over the credits of Rodrigo's hit song "Deja Vu."

According to reports, Swift and her collaborators Jack Antonoff and St. Vincent were retroactively credited to the song, noting that it interpolated "Cruel Summer."

Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift Feud Fueled by Songs?

The two stars were quite close a few years back, but after the credits fiasco, Rodrigo and Swift were no longer seen hanging out together.

In fact, the "Drivers License" singer was absent from the entirety North American leg of Swift's "The Eras" tour. She says that she will be attending the tour in Europe.

Some fans from both sides have insisted that there is nothing going on between the two artists and that the speculations are merely that, speculations.

"@ the people who are already editing the Genius annotations of Olivia Rodrigo's new songs to be about Taylor Swift: you are diminishing Olivias's artistry by reducing her lyrics to a petty feud fabricated by the media to pit two successful female artists against each other," a fan wrote.

"THE PEOPLE WHO THINK OLIVIAS SONGS R ABOUT TAYLOR NEED TO RETAKE THEIR ENGLISH CLASSES CUZ WTF KIND OF INTERPRETATION IS THAT," another added.

Olivia Rodrigo Responds to Alleged Feud

Prior to the release of "GUTS," Rodrigo was interviewed and asked about the alleged feud going on, and what she thought about fans' speculation regarding "Vampire" being about Swift.

"I mean, I never want to say who any of my songs are about. I've never done that before in my career and probably won't. I think it's better to not pigeonhole a song to being about this one thing," she replied. "I was very surprised when people thought that."

However, if the "Vampire" lyrics felt lacking, fans pointed to lyrics from "The Grudge" that might make more sense if the beef is real.

"My undying love, now I hold it like a grudge/ And I hear your voice every time I think I'm not enough."

The bridge goes: "Do you think I deserved it all/ Your flower's filled with vitriol/ You built me up to watch me fall/ You have everything and you still want more."
