Fans of the "High School Musical" franchise are sent into a nostalgic daze after a reunion photo of them making waves online.

Notably, some of the cast members appeared in the final season of the "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series," but lead stars Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, and Ashley Tisdale were absent.

In a post by Pop Crave, a photo of "High School Musical" stars Vanessa Hudgens, Monique Coleman, and Olesya Rulin emerged online.

Hudgens played the role of Gabriella Montez, a bright transferee at East High. Coleman played Taylor McKessie, the smart student body president who became best friends with Montez during the trilogy. Rulin, on the other hand, played pianist turned student Kelsy Nielsen, who later on became instrumental in the mounting of the final musical on the third movie.

Fans were smitten with the photo, especially with how they aged gracefully since the film premiered in 2006.

"Vanessa and all the girls looks sooo fine!!!" a fan shared.

"That's awesome! It's great to see Vanessa Hudgens, Monique Coleman, and Olesya Rulin together again!" another commented.

"So much love to see the HSM fam together again!" someone shared.

HSM Complete Reunion Didn't Happen?

In the past few months, some of the "High School Musical" cast members reunited briefly to do a cameo on Disney Plus' "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series" Season 4.

Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Lucas Grabeel, Kaycee Stroh, Bart Johnson, and Alyson Reed returned to reprise their roles and played themselves as real-life people.

However, Tisdale, Efron, Hudgens, and Rulin were not present. Tisdale and Rulin's characters' lives weren't mentioned in the series, but Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez's life were teased.

Apparently, in the fictional "High School Musical 4: The Reunion" movie, Troy and Gabriella are in couple's therapy. Meanwhile, Grabeel's character Ryan, are expecting twins with his partner, played by Pentatonix's Scott Hoying in the series.

"High School Musical: The Musical: The Series" capped off with an emotional Season 4 finale. It previously starred Olivia Rodrigo, but she left in the third season. Meanwhile, Joshua Bassett, Sofia Wylie, Matt Cornett, Julia Lester, Frankie Rodriguez, Dara Renee, Adrian Lyles, Liamani Segura, Kate Reinders, and Saylor Bell Curda, starred in the fourth season.
