Tanya Tucker was set to perform in New York City for a festival, but she canceled at the last minute due to her health condition; what happened to the singer?
According to SummerStage's official Instagram account, the musician is currently recovering from a medical procedure on her neck.
"While she was hoping to be further along in her recovery process, her biggest priority is taking care of her health so she can put on the best show possible for her fans," organizers for the music event added.

They also wished her a quick recovery and well wishes. Tucker later re-posted the Instagram story on her account.
As of this writing, the country superstar has yet to reveal the exact medical condition she has that led to her neck procedure.
Taste of Country reported that Tucker was scheduled to perform alongside Alex Hall. The musician took to his social media account to share that he's trying to figure out a "Plan B" as he's already in New York along with his band when the announcement was made.
Not The First Time Tanya Tucker Canceled a Show
This wasn't the first time Tanya Tucker had to cancel a concert as she also did it in 2021.
Per the outlet, the musician was scheduled to play at a series of shows two years ago, but she canceled it due to her hip surgery.

At the time, she was supposed to appear at the Grand Ole Opry as well as at the Ryman.

Tucker's next scheduled show will be at the H. Ric Luhrs Performing Arts Center in Shippensburg, PA, on September 15, but there is still no confirmation if the concert will still happen.
