Accusations of sexual assault and rape have been brought against Katy Perry's ex-husband Russell Brand by four women.
One of whom was only 16 years old when the alleged events occurred.
As reported by The Sunday Times, a series of events occurred from 2006 to 2013 while the British actor was employed as a presenter for BBC Radio 2, Channel 4, and later transitioned into Hollywood films like "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and "Get Him to the Greek."
Russell has been accused of an alarming array of behaviors, which his accusers have recounted in harrowing detail. They allege that he was manipulative, violent, and predatory.
In particular, one woman claims he attacked her in his Los Angeles residence, claiming he raped her against a wall. In response to this incident, she sought immediate help and went to a rape crisis center that day for treatment.
An additional female came forward, claiming that Russell had mistreated her when he was 31, but she was 16 and still attending school. She asserted that he would call her "the child" and that his behavior had been emotionally abusive and overbearing during their three-month relationship.
Another woman stepped forward to accuse the actor of sexual assault, stating she was victimized while working together in LA. She threatened to take legal action unless her story was kept quiet.
In addition, the fourth accuser stated that besides being sexually assaulted, she also suffered physical and emotional abuse at his hands.
Due to all these accusations, his cruel way of ending his marriage to Katy Perry has been on the spotlight once again.

Katy Perry, Russell Brand Marriage Breakdown
It was revealed that Russell Brand ended his marriage with pop singer Katy Perry with a text message sent to her on New Year's Eve.
In 2010, Russell wed singer Katy after meeting at the VMAs in 2008. The couple have since gone their separate ways, and today, Russel is married to Scottish blogger Laura Gallacher, with whom he shares two children.
After only a year and two months of marriage, Katy was left reeling when Russell texted to ask for a divorce just before she went onstage at her sold-out concert.
This abrupt ending shocked her as she had been entirely unaware of any problems in their relationship.
Although what exactly transpired between Russell and Katy has been a mystery, it is speculated that he sent her one message informing her of his intention to file for divorce.
In 2013, when reflecting on their relationship, the "I Kissed A Girl" singer said, "He's a brilliant man, and I was in love with him when I married him. Let's just say I haven't heard from him since he texted me saying he was divorcing me on December 31, 2011."
