It has been two years since Lorde last release her latest album, "Solar Power," and fans have been wanting to hear new music from her ever since.

More recently, there were online users who noticed one major change on her official website, which made them speculate that the singer will release new music soon; could this be true?

According to Pop Crave, Lorde's official website is down at the moment, and many people theorize that the reason behind it is a complete rebranding for new music.

"Oh lorde we are excited to see what you're going to come up with," one wrote.

"Could it be something interesting, a new album on the way? *your hosting expired hahahaha," another one wrote.

Despite the speculations, Lorde hasn't addressed why her website is currently not accessible to the public.

Lorde to Continue Writing Pop Music?

The recent news comes more than a year after Lorde performed at the Roundhouse in London, United Kingdom, where she opened up about the sound of her future music.

She addressed the crowd by saying that "big, bright pop song" defined her life as she started writing music at the age of 14.

At the time, it was the 9th anniversary of her debut single "Royals" which took over the music industry and became one of the most recognizable songs of all time.

"I'm getting nearer to that zone again, where all I'm going to write is those sort of songs for us all to dance to, and to feel in our hearts. Thanks for changing my life," she added before she performed her own rendition of "Runaway With Me" by Carly Rae Jepsen (via NME)

Lorde Performs New Songs on Recent Festival Appearance

Lorde already teased fans about the possible sound of her new album when she took the stage of the Broadmasters Festival this year.

Per the outlet, the musician performed two never-before-heard unreleased songs during her set and both of the tracks were included in between her performances of her biggest hits.

Many fans believed that the title of the new songs are "Silver Moon" and "Invisible Ink" but the singer has yet to confirm this information.

As of this writing, Lorde has not shared any official release dates for her new album.
