Cher and Edwards' relationship was put under the microscope because of their 40-year-age gap after they began dating following their meeting at the Paris Fashion Week. However, they called it quits despite publicly proclaiming their love for each other.

Nearly four months since their breakup, Page Six released exclusive photos of Cher and Edwards as they held hands in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The reported estranged couple made the public appearance on Friday, September 15, alongside J Balvin, Valentina Ferrer, and Tyga.
Cher and Edwards left the Funke restaurant together while keeping their hands intertwined, sparking reconciliation rumors.
The outing happened months after a news outlet confirmed their split and clarified they were never engaged despite previous reports. The cause behind the split was never revealed at that time.
Meanwhile, the "If I Could Turn Back Time" sons reportedly did not support their relationship, leading her to remove them from her $360 million will.
"Cher is mad at them she's ready to cut them out of her life completely," said a source. "She's been hell-bent on marrying this guy and is speaking to her lawyers about adjusting her will to make A.E. her sole beneficiary."
Per reports, Chaz Bono and Elijah Blue Allman accused Edwards of being a gold-digger and that he was only playing Cher to benefit from her popularity in the music industry.

Cher's Friends Also Disapprove of Relationship With Alexander Edwards
After the outing, her friends are also said to be shocked by Cher's decision to reconcile with Edwards.
"[They] are no fans of AE and have real concerns about where his heart is at in all of this," an insider told Radar Online. "They fear Cher will get hurt in the end. [They] don't want her to deal with nonsense at her age. Everyone thinks she should get rid of him quickly."
Another insider claimed her pals want Edwards gone.
In addition, they reportedly believe she rushed into their romance after her mother Georgia Holt's death.
On the other hand, Cher previously defended their relationship and said that her beau helped her ease the pain after losing her mother.
