Recently, One Direction has returned to his mansion in England after facing a health scare while vacationingwith girlfriend Kate Cassidy.
According to a source who chatted with The Sun, "Liam is having a tough time, but he's in a place where the medical team will be able to assess his condition."
The news was welcomed with relief - Liam had been discharged. After receiving expert care, the source confirmed that he had returned to his home in England and was recovering at his estate in his home county.
Meanwhile, Kate had remained in Italy, staying at their hotel by Lake Como until they could make their return journey.
Kate also recently took to TikTok to update fans on Liam's health, stating, "He is doing so much better. He is out of the hospital and in good hands."
Although plans for his musical comeback had been set this month, everyone's focus has shifted toward ensuring Liam's well-being first and foremost. Recovery is the primary concern now, she added.

While at Italy's five-star Mandarin Oriental hotel in Lake Como, Liam Payne reportedly experienced debilitating kidney pains and had to be taken to hospital immediately. Reports say that Liam was "in agony" when paramedics arrived.
Liam's mother was powerless when she heard her son had to travel to Milan for medical treatment. He had been forced to cancel all South American tour dates due to a severe kidney infection.
Karen, Liam's mum, expressed her anxieties about her son to Daily Mail.
She stated: "This has been very difficult for us as a family. Being so far away in Milan makes the situation even worse. I'm feeling helpless, unable to do anything from here."

In response to a wave of worry from fans, Kate Cassidy also made a social media post on TikTok with an update regarding her boyfriend's health.
She reassured the audience that he was on the mend: "He is doing so much better. He is out of the hospital now."
