Speculation has been rife surrounding Lisa from BLACKPINK and the possibility of her joining an American talent agency.

Earlier today, it has been revealed that all members of the band, aside from Rosé, didn't renew their contract with YG Entertainment.

But several rumors believe that during contract negotiations, Lisa appeared to be considering an American agency instead.

YG Entertainment, who represents the group, has yet to respond to this development publicly.

Previously, they had stated that talks were ongoing, but the most recent reports point in a different direction.

BLACKPINK Lisa Future After YG Entertainment

An overseas publication recently reported that BLACKPINK's Lisa could be on the verge of signing with a US agency instead of extending her contract with YG Entertainment.

This news comes to us from Taiwanese media outlet SETN (via Pinkvilla), which TV Report reported in an exclusive report.

An attractive proposition has reportedly been presented to Lisa by a prominent American recording company, promising a massive deal.

The current offer includes an impressive selection of events and outlets featuring assistance for her music recordings, video content, clothing designs, concerts, and six albums to be released.

In the report, it appears that Lisa will have complete control of her future songs, allowing her to set up her studio and even sign other artists. This means she will take ownership of all copyrights concerning those tunes.

The latest news is that BLACKPINK's maknae, Lisa, had declined a significant renewal contract from YG Entertainment for an astounding 50 billion KRW (roughly 37.7 million USD).

Speculation has been swirling that Lisa may have received multiple offers from entertainment companies abroad.

Nevertheless, as reported earlier today, Lisa will not be extending her contract with YG Entertainment.

As the BLACKPINK world tour drew to a close on September 17, 2023, in Seoul, many members of BLINKS were worried that Lisa's remarks during the finale might signal her departure from the fandom.

On discussion forums of YG Entertainment, these concerns have been expressed by avid followers of the group.

Since its formation in 2016, K-pop group BLACKPINK has been managed by YG Entertainment.
