Although Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner asked the public for privacy amid their legal separation, more and more details about their ongoing divorce are circulating online. More recently, it was reported that the actress didn't know anything about her now-estranged husband's move until she found out about it through the media.
According to Page Six, Turner filed a lawsuit against the Jonas Brothers singer as she wanted to get her children for him and move to England.
In legal documents obtained by the outlet, the actress claimed she only found out about the singer filing for divorce "through the media."

She added in court documents that everything unfolded all of a sudden, and their separation stemmed from an incident that happened on August 15, 2023, which was Jonas' birthday.
Weeks later, the musician officially filed for divorce.
Today, the most-recent lawsuit is still ongoing as Turner claimed that their daughters should stay in England where she was from and they already agreed with one another in late 2022.
Just hours later Turner's claims, Jonas denied the accusations, saying both of them already had conversations with one another prior the filing and "Sophie was aware that Joe was going to file for divorce." (via Pop Tingz)

The recent news comes after Sophie Turner and Taylor Swift made headlines after they were spotted hanging out in New York City amid the actress' divorce from Joe Jonas.
It is worth noting that the mega pop star previously dated the Jonas Brothers member for a few months in 2008.
According to a source who spoke with the outlet, the actress and the "Cruel Summer" hitmaker spent time together at Temple Bar in the Big Apple.

They reportedly had martinis and caviar bumps.
The outing weas cut short as the manager was "losing his mind" because many people gathered outside immediately when they found out that the songstress was at the venue.

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner were rumored to have separated a few months ago. Initially, the pair remained mum about the situation, but they later confirmed their split through a joint statement.
In a statement shared on the couple's official Instagram account, they confirmed to have ended their marriage after four years and it was an amicable decision between them.
"There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision," she added.
