Elon Musk is said to be seeking help from Taylor Swift to save X - formerly Twitter.

Swift has been dropping Easter Eggs for her future releases, especially for the highly-anticipated "1989 (Taylor's Version). The next re-recorded album will be dropped on October 27, marking the ninth anniversary of its original release.

Amid the continuous domination of Swift on the platform, Musk low-key begged her to save X by suggesting something to the singer.

On X, Swift uploaded a photoset featuring the back covers and vault track titles for the "1989 (Taylor's Version)" to express her excitement in finally dropping the material soon.

"I can't wait for this one to be out, seriously," she captioned the post. "Thank you for playing along, sleuthing, puzzling and making these reveals so much chaotic fun (which is the best kind of fun, after all."

It now has over 25.7 million views, 650,000 likes and over 13,000 replies - one of the latter came from Musk.

"I recommend posting some music or concert videos directly on the X platform," the SpaceX founder told Swift.

While the "champagne problems" singer can definitely be the platform's saving grace, it is worth noting that the National Music Publishers Association and its members filed a lawsuit in June after X infringed copyright on more than 1,700 songs.

According to NMPA president David Israelite, Twitter (X) is the largest social media platform that does not license the songs being shared on the site. The website responded by filing a motion to throw out the case.

X Users Poke Fun at Elon Musk's Request

Swift has yet to respond to Musk's tweet, but her fans - Swifties - and other users immediately ridiculed the Tesla Motors CEO and suggested something else instead.

A Swift fan page replied, "start paying fan pages more fairly for the engagement they bring to your app first."

"she's not going to notice you bestie trust me i've been trying," one hilariously quipped.

"More artists need to post music videos on X, it helps to share the videos and it also helps with ticket sales for concert tours. Also, X should provide something comparable to Eventbrite or Ticketmaster so that artists can sell tickets directly on X to events," another wrote.
