It's finally happening! Megan Thee Stallion and Beyonce's power combination is finally happening on the weekend!
Supposedly, Megan Thee Stallion was slated to perform at the 2023 Global Citizen's Festival in New York City.
Megan Thee Stallion Performing on 'Rennaissance' Houston Stop
According to Page Six sources, Megan Thee Stallion will be performing on Beyonce's "Renaissance" tour stop at the NRG Stadium, in Houston, Texas.
Apparently, this was the reason why Megan Thee Stallion tapped out on headlining the 2023 Global Citizen Festival.
Earlier this month, Billboard reported the "Savage" rapper's exit from the highly-awaited music festival.
"Due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict, Megan Thee Stallion will no longer be available to perform at the 2023 Global Citizen Festival," the organizers told the publication in a statement.
At the time, the reason was not revealed, until recently, when Page Six revealed that she got a better offer to perform on Beyonce's show.
However, some sources revealed that it was actually a scheduling conflict between the two music events. Apparently, both events were booked on the same day. Eventually, Megan Thee Stallion decided that it was better to perform at Beyonce's concert stop than to raise funds to save the world!
The duo's partnership started with their Grammy-winning collaboration "Savage." It's going to be a special time for the two as they both hailed from Houston, Texas.

Global Citizen Fest 2023 Lineup
With Megan Thee Stallion now unavailable for the performance, Global Citizen Festival 2023 organizers revealed the new lineup for the annual festival. (via Billboard)
BTS' Jungkook will co-headline the festival with Rap icon Lauryn Hill. Anitta and the Red Hot Chili Peppers will also perform at the annual charity event. Conan Gray, D-Nice, Sofia Carson, and Stray Kids will also be there.
The Global Citizen Music Festival will be on Sep. 23, 2023, the same night of Beyonce's "Renaissance" tour stop at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.
Fans can still purchase Global Citizens Festival VIP Tickets on Vivid Seats, StubHub, and even on Ticketmaster.
The Global Citizen Festival 2023 can also be streamed online at 4:00 p.m. ET, and 1:00 p.m. PT. It will be available on various platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Hulu, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music Twitch Channel, Veeps, Apple TV, ABC, and on the Global Citizen application and websites.
