Not long ago, Taylor Swift and Sophie Turner were seen enjoying a meal together at the Via Carota restaurant in Manhattan, New York.
This comes before the "Game of Thrones" star has taken legal matters into her own hands by filing a lawsuitagainst estranged husband Joe Jonas in a court located within the city.
This was done to seek the return of her two daughters to England.
Sophie Turner Sues Joe Jonas
On Thursday, legal documents were submitted to the US District Court for Southern New York, which revealed that two children of Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas, born in 2020 and 2022.
The kids were reportedly been detained against their will at a location in New York City since Wednesday - rather than being returned to their home country of England where they typically reside.
In April, after much deliberation, Sophie and Joe decided to make England their home for their children to receive an education there.
In May, the couple made a long-term move and signed contracts to purchase a residence to relocate there in December. However, their relationship had become strained due to complicated travel plans over the summertime.
It was determined that while Sophie began shooting his new television show in the UK during May, Joe and a nanny would take the children to the United States around late July as he commenced his concert journey with the Jonas Brothers. This plan was mentioned in their legal document.
According to the petition, Joe's extended family was set to look after his children until Sophie had wrapped up filming. At that point, she would have returned to New York in mid-September with her kids.
Then Joe filed for divorce shortly after.

Did Taylor Swift Encourage Sophie Turner To Sue Joe Jonas?
As news of the lawsuit broke out, people did not take long to develop theories on what might have caused Sophie Turner's decision to file the suit against her ex-husband Joe Jonas.
Taking to Twitter, one user postulated that the meeting between them could have happened before they filed the suit. The post read: "The fact that the dinner [with Taylor Swift] happened before the lawsuit makes me think Sophie spent dinner explaining the situation and her options, and Taylor's response was 'girl. do it.'"
Agreeing with this sentiment, one said, "Taylor is the obvious choice for a courtroom showdown - she definitely knows how to handle business!" This was about her conflicts with Scooter Braun.
A different comment read, "Sue him," and featured an image of the "Lavender Haze" hitmaker.
One individual said, "Sophie Turner went out for dinner with Taylor Swift, and now she is ready to cause some serious consequences for Joe Jonas - I'm here for it!"
A different person then joked, "Taylor Swift passing on her legal team's details to Sophie definitely speaks volumes about their girl power bond."
