Dolly Parton is currently rolling out some of her biggest collaborative projects for her new album "Rockstar" and her most recent featuring artist is none other than Linda Perry, popularly known for being a member of 4 Non Blondes.
According to People Magazine, the duo teamed up to sing a cover of the classic hit "What's Up?" which was originally released in 1993.
The pair's version is completely different from the original one as the new track revolved around a sweet guitar tune while their voices matched and harmonized with each other.
"First of all, I love Linda Perry. Second of all, I love this song written by Linda," Parton said in a press release.

The collaboration also came with a music video which featured the two musical legends singing along while random clips of children playing and enjoying around were played.
"I love being a part of this video to try to make people think about what's going on in this world today," Parton said about the visuals.
She also gave a shoutout to those who have helped them, especially the little children.
As of this writing, the music video isn't available online as the outlet noted that it premiered exclusively on MTV and CMT upon its release.

Linda Perry Gushes Over Dolly Parton
Dolly Parton's praise for Linda Perry was matched as the songwriter and former 4 Non Blondes member expressed her loved for the country legend as well.
She couldn't fathom that both of them are collaborating with each other especially playing a song that she had written.
"Her spin on it made me feel like it was her song. No surprise there," she added.
In addition, she also gushed over their time together while filming the music video, saying being on set was a very "comfortable easy experience" for her.
They were also able to catch up and laugh with each other while working on the project. She also noted that she could do it again and again as she's a "fan."

The cover of "What's Up?" is a part of Dolly Parton's new album "Rockstar" which will feature some of the biggest musicians in the industry.
According to ABC News, the new record will see tracks in collaboration with Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney, Brandi Carlile, Miley Cyrus, Pink, and many more.
The record will be available for streaming and purchase starting on November 17, 2023.
