If you were looking for a stellar show on television last night, then you didn't need to look any further than TBS' CONAN. American folk duo Shovels & Rope stopped by the comedian's late night program to give an incredible performance to an oh, so delighted crowd.

The band performed "The Devil Is All Around" off their newest album, Swimmin' Time, which was just released this past Aug. 26.

Taking to the late night set with a guitar, some drums, a keyboard and a hell of a lot of talent in terms of vocals and harmonies, Shovels & Rope succeeded in delivering an intense rendition of their newest album's first single.

Check out the duo's performance on last night's CONAN below:

Hailing from South Carolina, the married twosome of Michael Trent and Cary Ann Hearst have released three albums since forming back in 2008 –– 2008's self-titled Shovels & Rope, 2012's O' Be Joyful and their newest, Swimmin' Time.

The two made their television debut last year on the Late Show with David Letterman. And a year ago this month they were celebrated by the Americana Music Honors & Awards, winning awards in the categories of emerging artist of the year and song of the year for their track "Birmingham."

In looking at the photos the group posted on both Twitter and Facebook just before ending out the CONAN episode, it seems they were pretty excited to be on the Team Coco set. Of course, can you blame them?
