Nicole Scherzinger can dance, can sing, can perform, and can lead a girl group. Formed in 2003, the girl group went on to become a commercial success not just in the United States but also worldwide!

Their hits, "Stickwitu," "Don't Cha," "Jai Ho," "When I Grow Up," and "Buttons," became pop culture classics. Thanks to Scherzinger, the sound will forever be ingrained in their fans'' memories even after they disbanded in 2010.

Now, Scherzinger is taking another leap from Los Angeles studios to the West End as she was offered the role that Norma Desmond, Patti LuPone, and Glenn Close, once donned - on Andrew Lloyd Webber's revival production of "Sunset Boulevard."

Nicole Scherzinger Recalls Leading Pussycat Dolls

In an interview with People Magazine, Nicole Scherzinger opened up about the time she spent with the girl group.

"Our group was never set up like the Spice Girls. Our group was set up where I would be the quarterback, and I would lead us," she admitted. "The girls are extremely strong, talented dancers, and I had to work hard to be able to stand next to them."

The group was composed by Scherzinger, who led the vocals, backed by dancers Melody Thornton, Jessica Sutta, Kimberly Wyatt, Carmit Bachar, and Ashley Roberts. Since she was the lead vocalist in the group, the majority of the records only featured Scherzinger's vocals.

"I always used to be made to feel like . . . I don't know, not ashamed, but . . . I'm very proud that the albums are my music. I put the work in after all these years, and that's OK that I have the credit because everybody has their own strengths. And this is what I bring to the table," she candidly shared. "Those were world-class pop records that had many No. 1s around the world. And I love my girls, and I'll always have love for them - I only wish them the best."

Sadly, the group isn't coming back anytime soon as their reunion has been marred with controversy including their founders Jimmy Iovine and Robert Antin.
