Taylor Swift has reportedly blocked Fox from playing her music during the football game she attended to watch Travis Kelce last weekend.

"Earlier in the week, amid the avalanche of rumors, our bulldog associate producer Rich Gross had sought permission to use some of Swift's music," wrote Richie Zyons, the NFL on Fox lead producer. "Not a chance."

Apparently, the producers heard rumors that the "Anti-Hero" singer was going to attend the game, which is why they asked for permission to use her music, but to no avail.

"Per the FOX music department, Swift's record label and publishing company denied our request 'in conjunction with speculations on or about her private/personal/dating life.'"

Taylor Swift Gives Travis Kelce, NFL a Boost?

Following the revelation, netizens expressed varied reactions regarding Swift not allowing Fox to use her music during the game.

Some say it was a missed opportunity; "Her music playing there would have been a great help to her career," one wrote.

While others questioned her decision; "Why would she do such [a] thing?"

On the other hand, some fans could not help but cheer on the "Shake It Off" singer; "I think she gave them enough publicity. LOL they don't need her music."

"She's still the best though."

However, even Zyons acknowledged that that game consisted of the actual game and Swift's reactions from the VIP room.

"After that, coverage became a matter of balance. Russo showed restraint not taking gratuitous live shots, saving the opportunities for when she reacted to action in the game," the lead producer continued.

"Her joyful expression after Kelce scored a touchdown was the image of the day, captured beautifully by our low end-zone cameraman Andy Mitchell."

Travis Kelce Praises Taylor Swift

While Swift may seem a little uptight on the producer's end, her new beau, Kelce, thought otherwise.

The NFL star could not help but gush about her and sing praises during his "New Heights" podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce.

"Shout out to Taylor for pulling up . That was pretty ballsy," Kelce said. "I just thought it was awesome how everyone in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her. The friends and family. She looked amazing, everybody was talking about her in a great light.

"On top of that, the day went perfect for Chiefs fans of course. We script it all ladies and gentlemen. It was just impressive."
