Over the past decade, Sia was not only known for her high vocals and impressive songs, she's also known for her extravagant fashion and her signature wigs that covers the majority of her face.
More recently, the Australian singer bravely shows her face to the public and revealed that she underwent plastic surgery in order to gain confidence again.
According to Page Six, the "Titanium" hitmaker recently attended the 2023 Daytime Beauty Awards at the Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles, California.
During the big event, Sia was assigned to present the award to her good pal, Dr. Ben Talei, who won the award for Outstanding Achievement in Medicine.
During her speech, the pop superstar said she normally hides her face and doesn't lie to her fans.
"I got an amazing facelift from Dr. Talei. He is incredible, and he is doing so much good work - and not just for the pop stars of the world," she said.
Sia Praised by Her Plastic Surgeon
Later on, Talei praised Sia after she introduced him, saying the pop singer is an "amazing person" and they have a lot of common friends who kept saying that they all love her.
"She really is — like you can see — a bright ray of sunshine and made my nieces and nephews' days. She invited them over to her house for a big party, and the whole family loves her. I'm super grateful," the doctor added.

Talei went on to share a photo of them together on his official Instagram account. In the snap, the two were photographed hugging at the event.
In the caption, the doctor expressed his gratitude for his friendship with Sia and for him, it's incredible to have a connection with her as he loves and respects her so much.
Why Does Sia Hide Her Face?
Sia had been using exaggerated wigs to cover the entirety of her face. Most of the time, her mouth was the only facial feature fans could see so she could use it for singing, but the rest of her face has been often covered up with something.
According to Who, the reason why Sia covered her face for the past few years was because she wanted to remain anonymous and have some privacy.
She later opened up in an interview that hiding her face was effective as there was one moment where she went to a store without her wig and her face showing, but no one recognized her even though her song played on a speaker.
