News of Duane "Keefe D" Davis' indictment in Tupac Shakur's murder surprised the only other witness alive when it happened.

As an eyewitness to what happened that night in 1996 Vegas, Suge Knight made it clear he wouldn't take part in any testimony against Keefe D.

Suge, who is also the Death Row Records founder, is raising doubts about police and prosecutors' accusations against Keefe D, as reported by TMZ.

He has gone against popular opinion and rejected speculation that Keefe D's late nephew Orlando Anderson was responsible for pulling the trigger.

On September 7, 1996, Suge and Tupac were seated in a black BMW car at a traffic junction close to the Las Vegas Strip. Suddenly, a white Cadillac pulled up beside them, and gunshots started ringing.

At the unfortunate age of 25, Tupac was shot multiple times and later passed away. Meanwhile, Suge is in jail for 28 years due to a hit-and-run case in 2015.

Through a phone conversation that Suge had with TMZ from a prison in California, he declared that regardless of what Keefe D had previously stated - either publicly or to the authorities - he would never utter anything negative about him.

Answering questions regarding Keefe D's murder trial, the rapper made one thing abundantly clear - prosecutors should not be expecting Suge to appear as a witness.

Involving two cars, a black BMW and a white Cadillac, six individuals were implicated in the deadly episode that transpired twenty-eight years ago, four of which had been occupying the shooter's vehicle.

Only Suge Knight and Duane Davis remain alive of all those involved in the incident.

Suge Knight was astounded to discover that on September 29, police apprehended Keefe D in Las Vegas due to an indictment by a grand jury. Allegedly, the accused had been involved in the killing of Tupac.

Apparently, before the fatal shooting, members of Tupac's crew had attacked Orlando, who was related to Keefe D, following a Mike Tyson fight inside the MGM Grand.

In no uncertain terms, he made it clear that the individual responsible for shooting Tupac and him on that fateful night would remain anonymous.

Notwithstanding, he insisted that it was not Orlando and intimated that Davis should not have been incarcerated either.

For years, there has been a buzz surrounding the name of Suge Knight's former friend and associate, David Mack.

In his attempt to shine a light on the issue, Keefe D even wrote a book about it, and authorities have credited its publication as having sparked their investigation into the matter.
