Rock royalty Ozzy Osbourne is about to be honored in his hometown of Birmingham with the opening of an interactive museum dedicated to his illustrious career.

His wife Sharon said she hopes this archive will educate and inspire a fresh wave of rockers.

Informing her children Jack, 37, and Kelly, 38, Sharon, 70, excitedly announced on their podcast, "The Osbournes Podcast,": "I'm piecing together everything for the museum in honor of your father. There will be awards on display, his costumes, and promotional posters - it will have so much memorabilia!"

On the same show, Sharon Kmp recently spoke about how educational it can be for artists from humble beginnings to witness those who have worked hard to succeed.

Sharon declared: "We plan to create a café with various instruments and offer music classes since today's schools don't provide such opportunities. We even will invite other musicians to join us."

Just a few months ago, Birmingham appreciated former Black Sabbath with an impressive gesture.

A giant robotic bull, originally part of the Commonwealth Games last summer, was placed in New Street Station and named after him.

Ozzy, based in LA and who has Parkinson's, recently declared his intention to return to the music world after undergoing a series of spinal operations stemming from a 2019 fall.

Speaking with Metal Hammer magazine, he commented: "I'm working hard to get back into shape. I want to put out one more album before hitting the road again."

"All the necessary operations have been done now, and though I'm not yet able to walk properly, at least I'm no longer in pain."

Recently, Ozzy provided an update on his progress after his last spinal surgery a month ago. This came in the aftermath of a series of treatments he had to undergo due to an accident in 2019.

Ozzy also discussed his plans to give Tai Chi a go on the podcast. He believed it would be beneficial to developing better balance.

"Oh my God, this is the best news I have heard in so long," answered Kelly. "Jack, do you realize that they say that the No. 1 thing to help with mobility and Parkinson's is Tai Chi?"

Last month, Jack and Aree Gearhart tied the knot, and now they have been trying to convince Ozzy - their dad - to take low-impact exercise for quite a while.

"It's the balance that helps me," Ozzy mentioned, adding that he wanted to get back in shape with all available options.
