Elon Musk and Grimes are in a parental right tug of war as the latter made a huge legal move earlier this week in seeking rights for their children. Grimes revealed that she has had no contact with her children for quite a while already, as expressed in a now-deleted tweet on X.
Now, it seemed like Elon Musk was steps ahead of her in this legal battle.
Elon Musk Sued Grimes Last September
According to Business Insider, Elon Musk has secretly taken legal action against his ex-girlfriend, and mother of their three children, Grimes, in seeking parental rights.
Per sources, the Tesla and X CEO has filed a petition seeking to be the legal parent of X Æ A-Xii, Tau Techno Mechanicus, and Exa Dark Sideræl.
According to the claims, he has given "actual care, control, and possession of each child since the birth of each child" and he has the custody of the children in the past six consecutive months.
The filing also alleged that Grimes is attempting to circumvent the jurisdiction" of a Texas court by declaring herself as not a resident of the state, even though they had lived together in the same home from May to July of 2023.
Musk seeks to establish a written agreement with the singer in relation to forming a conservatorship, possession, and access for their three kids. However, he and Grimes failed to come up with a resolution, so he asked the Texas court to get in between. The court advises them to go into mediation before a trial.
Musk wants to establish a "parent-child relationship" between him and his three kids with Grimes, since technically and legally, they are not married.
The controversial CEO filed his paperwork for this on Sept. 13, 2023, while Grimes, filed hers on Sept. 30, 2023, only, unknowingly that his ex-boyfriend has made a move already.

Similarly, Grimes wants to establish the same thing as Musk has already done.
Per Page Six sources, Grimes wants the Los Angeles court to identify her as the parent of their three children.
In a now-deleted tweet, Grimes alleged that she has not had contact with her children.
"tell Elon to let me see my son or plz respond to my lawyer," she said in the post.
She also added that she has never ever been allowed to see a photo of their children despite the situation "utterly ripping" her family apart.
