Britney Spears' "The Woman In Me" sent social media into a frenzy when she revealed that she got pregnant with Justin Timberlake during the 2000s but the latter insisted on aborting it because he was not yet ready to be a father.
Spears has since responded to the public's reaction to it - with another video on Instagram.
Britney Spears Aborted Her Child With Justin Timberlake
In an excerpt from her memoir, "The Woman In Me," Britney Spears shared that during her relationship with Justin Timberlake, she got pregnant. (via People Magazine)
"It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn't a tragedy. I loved Justin so much," Spears fondly recalled in her memoir. "I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I'd anticipated. But Justin definitely wasn't happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren't ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young."
Spears also added: "If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn't want to be a father." To date, Spears explained that the abortion was "one of the most agonizing things" she has ever experienced in her life.
Fans were shocked at Spears' revelation in her memoir, which also included being abused by her own parents at a young age, and even being body-shamed by his father.
Now, Spears has responded to the public reaction about her bombshell revelation – another dance video.

Britney Spears Dances With Knives Again
In a new Instagram post, Britney Spears danced with fake knives on her underwear.
"Come over don't worry I have such a warm inviting loving home with these FAKE knives !!!" she said in the caption of the video.
For those who do not remember, Britney Spears caused worry and panic among her fans when she posted a video of her dancing with knives last September 2023.
She then clarified that it was actually a fake knife prop she brought in Los Angeles, California. Her fans were so worried that they had police coming over to do some welfare checks on her.
"Somebody close to Britney had seen the video posted on social media, where she's dancing and twirling with knives in her hands, and they were really concerned for her mental well-being," the Sherriff said at the time, as quoted by Page Six.
