BTS member V was reportedly followed by a stalker all the way to his apartment building who handed a marriage certificate to him to sign.

The stalker was referred only to as "A," and is reportedly a woman in her twenties; according to reports, she had snuck in as he drove into the building's parking lot.

The news of a stalker caught fans by complete surprise, and they expressed their anger towards the situation on social media, where they demanded BigHit Music-BTS' talent agency and record label-to do something about the incessant stalking surrounding the KPOP stars.

BigHit Music responded: "We are responding with a no-tolerance policy to stalking crimes that disturb our artists' personal lives and threaten their safety."

BTS Fans Demand For More Security

Following the news of V's stalker being arrested, fans took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to express their frustration regarding BTS' stalkers.

"It's unfortunate to hear about BTS V's stalker being arrested. Stalking is a serious issue that can cause immense distress. Kudos to the police for taking action. Let's hope this serves as a reminder that everyone deserves privacy and safety, regardless of their fame."

"She should face legal consequences, I hope she gets sued," another added.

"People need to touch some grass [for real]."

"Sue the woman & put her in jail for a lifetime."

V, on the other hand, took to Weverse to share how he is doing after the incident: "I'm all good~~ Don't worry."

This is not the first time a KPOP idol has come face to face with their stalkers. These incidents have been going on with several artists and celebrities, not just in South Korea, but in the United States as well.

Earlier this year, Lana Del Rey's stalker, who has been following her around for years, was also arrested.
