Taylor Swift released five new songs alongside the original 16 tracks for her newly released re-recorded album "1989 (Taylor's Version)."

Among those songs is "Say Don't Go," which was co-written by Diane Warren, a famous songwriter who penned iconic songs like "I Could Turn Back Time" by Cher and "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" by Aerosmith.

"Everything has its time, you know? It took a while to see the light of day, but I'm glad it finally did," Warren told Rolling Stone.

She was taken aback when the song was not included in the initial release of "1989" back in 2014, but she now sees that there is a silver lining.

"It was worth the wait," the songwriter added, especially now that the song has received much love and praise from Swift's fans online.

"She's deeply aware of how her fans want to hear something. I can't explain it, but that's probably why she's the biggest f---ing star in the world."

Taylor Swift's '1989 (Taylor's Version)' Vault Tracks

"Say Don't Go" is one of the songs from the singer's "From The Vault" collection, along with "'Slut!'," "Now That We Don't Talk," "Is It Over Now?," and "Suburban Legends."

All of the songs have been produced by Swift and her frequent collaborator, Jack Antonoff.

According to reports, the song was written in 2013, and was recorded on New Year's Day 2014, which is why Warren added more praise towards the singer for taking no days off from making music.

"I'm a workaholic, and that's fine for me," she said. "But I remember being impressed that she did, too. Everybody's on vacation, but she showed up."

Taylor Swift Dedicates Song to Harry Styles?

Some fans of the "Anti-Hero" singer alleged that the songs from the "1989 (Taylor's Version)" vault are dedicated to Harry Styles, Swift's ex-boyfriend.

The couple dated briefly from November 2021 to early January 2013. Other songs in the album are presumed to be about the "As It Was" singer like "Style" and "I Know Places."

While Swift has not addressed the rumors, she did give the vault songs a special shout-out in her announcement.

"To be perfectly honest, this is my most FAVORITE re-record I've ever done because the 5 From The Vault tracks are so insane. I can't believe they were ever left behind."
